Today is the first day of the rest of your life

It has started raining in Mumbai. This is the best time of the year for me, especially since my hometown, Vizag, is parched territory, where it's either hot or very hot. When i first came to bombay in july 05, i was excited at the prospect of joining IIT, coming to bombay, a chance of a much better education, better access to computers and the internet, a free life, so many possibilities... When i was going in the car to campus, it was raining heavily, and having experienced the heat of vizag, this was wonderful. As the car moved through the wide, spacious roads of the metropolis in the rain, in the early morning at 7:45 or so, it was like the beginning of a new life for me... people with umbrellas waiting at bus stops, taking buses. An especially tender moment was when we passed a young couple, sharing an umbrella, hands tightly around each other, beginning another beautiful day together navigating the metro... an ordinary day for one of the millions of inhabitants in the city, i guess, but that doesn't make it any less special or touching. These moments are the ones that life is made of. In the bustle of everyday life once in a while comes a rain that washes clean our clogged senses and emotions, allowing us to experience moments of beauty...

Hey it is beautiful observation and inference.

The approach of the monsoon in Mumbai is a sight to behold and specially from the Gateway of India. The waves lashing and trying to kiss the walls of the Marine Drive, the drizzle in the Chowpatty....and the people dancing in it brings back the human side of the commercial capital.
